Varna Park Upgrade

Varna Park

To create a safe and fun experience for the community we upgraded the playground in Varna Park. We are proud to say this park design was chosen by the community through Council’s consultation process.

The upgrade included:

  • The installation of new playground equipment, rubber softfall and natural and imaginative play spaces;
  • new park furniture;
  • new fitness station and bins; and
  • Turf improvement works.

Construction started 22 February 2021 and was completed in June 2021.

The project is being funded through Waverley Council’s Capital Works Program and a NSW Government Stronger Communities Grant.
