Political donations & gifts disclosure

The NSW Government has implemented the Local Government and Planning Legislation Amendment (Political Donations) Act 2008, which requires the disclosure of political donations and gifts when lodging or making a submission to development proposals. The declaration is to be made at time of lodgement of a Development Application or when making a submission (either an objection to or in support of a proposal).

Declaring political donations and gifts

If you are required to declare any political donations or gifts, you must complete the Political Donations and Gift Disclosure Statement form in full and lodge it with the Development Application or submission.

Availability of disclosures to the public

Council is required to retain the disclosures made by applicants and people making submissions to development proposals. Council must also make the disclosures available to the public. If you require access to the disclosures, please contact Council's Customer Service Centre on 9083 8000.
