When David Hockney died in June of this year, he was described as Britain’s favourite artist, if not the greatest. Although as a young artist he had adopted Los Angeles as his artistic home, creating defining images of its swimming pools, blue skies and tanned bodies, he continued to return and paint his native Yorkshire. These later works replaced the subdued, muted tones normally associated with Britain, with his own intense vision of this landscape.

Join us at Baby Sensory & Play which brings together stories, songs, movement and gentle play, with a focus on early development.

Babies will explore a range of sensory experiences including tactile play, visual stimulation, and music, all in a calm and welcoming environment. We'll take time to celebrate milestones and support connection between caregivers and their babies.

The session will finish with free play, giving families a chance to meet and connect with each other.

To ensure the safety of all participants, this session is designed for pre-walkers, aged 0-10 months.

Collage is made up of magazine and newspaper clippings, discarded books, packaging, coloured or handmade papers, portions of other artworks or texts, photographs and found objects.

Each week we pick a theme or style of contemporary collage. The classes are informal and relaxed, and no experience is necessary. Just bring you creativity. The class is lead by an experienced collagist.

Ahoy! If you love pirates and mermaids, then you’ll love our special craft and sensory play afternoon. Children will enjoy a range of crafts and tactile activities, perfect for any small pirate or mermaid!

Please note: Parents/carers must stay with their child for the duration of the event.

Introducing Bondi Junction Twilight Markets: a new after-work market taking over Oxford Street Mall each month. The first event on 24 September will be a special Moon Festival edition.
