Bondi Beach Sea Wall
The Bondi Beach Sea Wall has been in operation since the late1970s and has featured a mix of street and contemporary art with strong social and political messages throughout the decades.

Mark & Evette Moran Nib Literary Award
The Mark & Evette Moran Nib Literary Award is Waverley Council’s annual celebration of the best in research-based Australian literature, presented with the generous support of Principal Sponsors Mark and Evette Moran and community partner Gertrude and Alice Bookshop and Café. The Nib Award is highly valued by the local and wider literary community and is the only one of its kind awarded by an Australian Local Government Authority.

Waverley Art Prize
The Waverley Art Prize has been running since 1986 and is a local painting prize. The Waverley Art Prize is very much aimed at the local community and early to mid-career artists. The Open Prize and Mayor's Prize winning works are acquired in the Waverley Council Collection.

Waverley Artist Studios are for emerging, mid-career and professional artists interested in working within Bondi and the greater Eastern Suburbs area. Studios are offered in year-long residencies.

Are you an artist, creative, cultural practitioner, creative collective or not-for-profit arts organisation based in Waverley Council? Expressions of Interest are now open for the beautiful Yalagang Room across all artforms for creative developments, residencies or small showings.

School Holiday Programs
Looking for things to do these School Holidays? Waverley offers a range of online and face-to-face activities. The program includes both free and paid activities facilitated by a combination of Waverley Council specialist staff, artists, industry professionals and partner organisations.

Waverley Library Galleries
The Waverley Library Galleries are are situated within the popular Waverley Library in Bondi Junction. The Galleries consist of an atrium and foyer space, and experience approximately 44,000 visitors per month. The Galleries exhibit all forms of contemporary practice and encourage public programs associated with exhibitions.

The Pav's Art Gallery is home to our ongoing exhibition program showcasing local, national and international contemporary artists all year-round.

The Bondi Pavilion Housewarming Program is a new artist residency program celebrating the re-opening of the iconic Bondi Pavilion.By welcoming artists into the building before it opens to the public and filling the spaces with art and new ideas, we aim to support the building’s ‘artist first’ ethos.Open to artists from all disciplines and levels of experience, we will support one and two week residences in August 2022.

Bondi Pavilion Theatre
The newly refurbished Bondi Pavilion Theatre, home to theatre, music, film, talks and festivals since 1974, has now re-opened its doors hosting many council creative and partner programs as well as opportunities for independent groups and producers to present. This is an inclusive space that is accessible and offers a Hearing Augmentation System and state of the art facilities.
