Hunter Park

Hunter Park is a quiet grassed area behind Bondi Icebergs that slopes towards the start of the famous coastal walk from Bondi to Bronte or Coogee. With a sculpture park and stunning ocean views, it is a pleasant place to relax and soak up your surrounds.

Public facilities

Toilets: South Bondi Beach. Refer to toiletmap.gov.au.

Parking: Use public transport. Limited on-street parking. Mobility parking bay on Notts Ave.

Pets: Dogs prohibited in the park but permitted on-leash on the coastal walk.

Events & Hire

For formal gatherings (e.g. weddings), corporate activations, events with larger groups or filming and photography, see Use of public spaces.

  • Alcohol prohibited area – see map.
  • No charcoal, solid fuel barbecues or open fires.
  • No camping or staying overnight.
  • No organised ball games.
  • No commercial activities without Council approval.
  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
