Music

Music is a vibrant and vital part of Waverley’s Arts and Culture program, featuring everything from uplifting community choirs to concerts by world-class musicians. Artists who have performed at our venues include Elixir featuring Katie Noonan, Emma Pask, Dan Sultan, Queenie van de Zandt, Kee’ahn, Ursula Yovich, Martha Marlow, The Catholics, Siren’s Big Band and Mara.

Council facilitates a number of music programs for the young and young at heart. Budding young musicians can take part in our annual Bondi WAVE Youth Songwriting Program, while older residents are invited to join Sunshine Singers, a seniors’ singing group that rehearses at the Bondi Pavilion every week, with performance opportunities throughout the year.

Bondi Pavilion Music Studios are available for regular hirers, casual bookings and Council produced programs.

Lunchtime concerts are held monthly throughout the year, on Wednesdays from 1.30pm–2.30pm in the High Tide Room. Click here for 2024 dates.
