Council initiatives to homelessness
Waverley Council acknowledges that not all people in the community have access to safe and secure accommodation. Council works in partnership with a number of agencies to address homelessness. Some of our initiatives:
The Waverley Homeless Persons Protocol guides Council officers in providing support to the homeless people living in public places, to increase their access to services and to minimise the negative impacts homelessness has on their lives.
Affordable Housing for people on low to moderate incomes
