Car parks
Council Car Parks
In addition to metered on street parking, Council owns and operates three commercial car parks.
All three Council car parks operate a license plate recognition access system. A physical ticket will only be issued if the automated system cannot read a vehicle’s license plate. Details of each of the car parks are provided below.
Please note that aside from the fees below, an additional merchant fee is charged for all credit card transactions.
Eastgate Car Park
(enter via Ebley Street or Newland Street)
Operating Hours: 5AM to 11.30PM daily
Closed: Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day
