Significant Tree Register

Council’s Significant Tree Register defines significant trees as “those trees that make a major contribution to the everyday landscape and are therefore of special value to the community.”

Significant trees are listed on the Waverley Significant Tree Register and protected under the general provisions of the Waverley Development Control Plan – Part B3 - Landscaping, Biodiversity and Vegetation Preservation.

Any significant tree on private land is the responsibility of the private land owner to preserve and maintain.
