Housing Advisory Committee

The Housing Advisory Committee was reconstituted in 2021 to explore and provide feedback on Council’s social and affordable housing programs, including planning provisions, implementation, management, and options for delivery.

The Committee is advisory to Council and is made up of the Mayor and three other members of the elected body; up to six experts and two community members appointed by Council to provide a variety of perspectives on matters such as housing needs, priorities, and potential approaches to achieving growth in provision.
