Section 7.12 - Developer Contributions
Section 7.12 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 provides Council the means to levy contributions towards the cost of public facilities and services to meet the increased demand created by development.
In the past, this has helped Council to deliver projects and facilities like the Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre.
The plan sets out the guidelines for when development contributions may be required and how the funds may be allocated by Council.
Waverley Council Development Contributions Plan
Amendment No. 8 to the Waverley Council Development Contributions Plan 2006 was adopted by Council at its meeting on 6 February 2018. Follow the link below to download the document in full.
