Creative opportunities
Waverley Council offers many opportunities to local artists and creative workers, including a selection of small grants, networking and professional development opportunities, spaces to create (e.g. Waverley Artist Studio Residencies and the Local Creative Collaboration program), and prizes and awards for literature and visual arts.
You can apply to exhibit your art at the Waverley Library Galleries, show off your talent as a street performer or be next in line to paint the Bondi Beach Sea Wall.
Grants on offer to creatives include venue hire grants, community and cultural grants and creative street grants.
We are currently seeking local DJs and musicians to elevate 2025-26 events across Waverley – from street parties and markets to free concerts at the beach. Expressions of Interest are open until 30 September 2025. Find out more and submit an EOI here. |
