Waverley Library Galleries

Local Colour is a celebration of work by the Randwick Art Society. The exhibition includes landscapes, photography, figure work, still life, sculptures and crafts, all reflecting the local area and character of the Eastern Suburbs in diverse and colourful ways.

Gertrude: Best known as the quirky gal who cannot cook, Marie Widolf’s cartoon-character, Gertrude, returns to Waverley Library with her special brand of mayhem.

Joie de Vivre is a group of seven local painters who came together, originally taking classes and painting outside as a collective. This exhibition showcases various memories and places that the group love.

Presented as a part of Summerama this exhibition explores these “forgotten forests” . Selected from over 350 submissions from seventeen countries around the world, the Waverley Library Galleries will present 28 finalists and winners across 6 categories.
