Processing times for applications
Please allow a minimum of 10 business days to process your application.
Fees and charges
Fees for a permit include an application fee and an hourly location fee. The location fee depends on the time of year and location. A more accurate quote will be sent on receipt of your application.

Things to consider before applying
Under no circumstances do we authorise the use of land, rock or cliff edge beyond public reserve fence lines. Subsidence and slippages do occur along the coastline and it is considered highly dangerous and potentially fatal to go beyond the fence line.

- No glass, confetti or rice.
- The area must be left clean and tidy. Council property, including vegetation/new planting must not be damaged.
- All paths must be kept clear for pedestrians to freely walk by i.e path or access to a public decking must not be blocked or obstructed.
- No vehicle access.
For the full usage conditions, refer to the general hire conditions.
To enquire about weddings or private ceremonies, email outdoorevents@waverley.nsw.gov.au or phone 0434 855 115.
If you see anything untoward please report it to the Council rangers on 0414 884 393.
