With limited parking available around Waverley Park, make your visit hassle-free by going for a stroll, jumping on your bike, or catching a bus.

Walking and cycling

The Green Links walking route from Bondi Junction to Bronte passes the pavilion. Details of this walking route are shown on the Walking in Waverley and Woollahra map.

The recreation centre is easily accessed by bicycle or on foot using the shared path that crosses the park from Birrell St to Paul St. This is part of the bike route linking Bronte to Bondi Junction. Bike racks are located at the centre near the kiosk, and at Waverley Council.  View the Waverley Council interactive map for other bike rack locations.

Accessibility

Public Transport

Waverley Park is serviced by frequent buses along Bondi Rd between Bondi Beach and the city, with additional bus routes on Birrell St and Old South Head Rd. It’s a pleasant 10-15 minute walk from Bondi Junction and the rail/bus interchange.
