Joshua Spicer

Joshua Spicer, a Chartered Accountant, was born and raised in Waverley. He attended Rose Bay Secondary College before receiving a co-operative scholarship to study a Bachelor of Accounting at the University of Technology Sydney.

Starting his accounting career at 18, Joshua built a foundation in audit and forensic accounting with some of Australia’s top professional services firms. He has also worked with leading startups and scale-ups, supporting their growth during key stages of development.

As a younger resident, Joshua brings a fresh perspective to Waverley Council, focusing on keeping the area vibrant and liveable for families and future generations. In addition to his work on Council, Joshua has served as an elected deputy for the Jewish Board of Deputies and volunteered with the CSG.

Joshua is committed to supporting local businesses, ensuring council’s financial sustainability, and preserving Waverley’s natural beauty, including its iconic beaches and green spaces. He is honoured to serve the community he loves and is passionate about making a meaningful difference for Waverley residents.
