Waverley Council offers a range of arts and cultural opportunities to enhance and support the creative practice of its community. With music programs and studios, artists in residence and multiple exhibition spaces, as well as festivals, the Tamarama Rock Surfers amazing Theatre program, support for community organisations and education programs, Waverley Council is dedicated to sustaining a dynamic cultural calendar.



Artists wishing to exhibit at the Bondi Pavilion Gallery or the Waverley Library Galleries are encouraged to apply for inclusion under the 2015 Waverley Arts Program.

The iconic Bondi Pavilion Gallery has been hosting vibrant exhibitions for over thirty years exhibiting artists to a diverse visitation on stunning Bondi Beach. The Waverley Library Galleries are situated in the Ron Lander Centre within Waverley Library. The Galleries consist of an atrium and foyer gallery and experience approximately 44,000 visitors per month. The Galleries exhibit all forms of contemporary practice and encourage public programs associated with exhibitions. The closing date for the 2015 program is Friday 29 August 2014. Waverley Council's Artist in Residence program offers professional artists the opportunity to work in a fully subsidised studio for a period of 6 months. Applications for the period of January - June 2015 close on Friday 29 August 2014. For more information head to:
