Request a street tree planting

Each year Council plants over 400 new and replacement street trees between April and September according to an annual schedule. Trees are sourced from quality nurseries and tree planting sites are thoroughly prepared. This ensures that the trees have the best possible start to a long life.

• Residents can request Council to plant a street tree at the front of their property on the verge, by logging a request (use the Trees option).
• Residents cannot plant street trees themselves, however they can apply to create their own Verge Garden. For more information, visit Public Gardening.
