Save water with WaterFix®
Conserving water collectively is becoming increasingly important in the Eastern Suburbs as supplies face mounting pressure from drought and future climate change impacts.
Waverley, Randwick and Woollahra Councils are collaborating with Sydney Water to promote the WaterFix® Program. This Sydney Water initiative makes it easier than ever for homes, apartments, businesses, or schools to reduce their water usage, with several offerings available:
WaterFix® Residential
For a small callout fee of only $33, Sydney Water will replace and repair taps, showerheads and toilets. Over 20 years, Sydney Water has helped residents to save over 300 million litres of water and reduce water bills.
WaterFix® Strata
You can help minimise levies and water bills in your strata building. Request a free desktop assessment to benchmark your strata's water usage and receive a quote to repair any identified issues.
WaterFix® Concealed Leaks
If your water bill shows your water use has increased but you can't see a leak, contact WaterFix Concealed Leaks. Sydney Water's licensed and experienced plumbers can detect and repair hidden leaks on your property.
WaterFix® Commercial
Wasting water is costly for office towers, shopping centres, supermarkets, hotels and motels, aged care facilities, clubs and large venues. Request a free desktop assessment to benchmark your site’s water usage, install water usage data loggers, arrange on-site audits and receive obligation-free quotes to repair identified issues.
WaterFix® Schools
Compare your schools water usage against similar sized schools. If your usage is high, you can request a free desktop assessment and be invited to join the WaterFix Schools program. The Waterfix Schools program includes the installation of data logger on the schools’ water meter, an onsite-audit, report and provision of obligation-free quotes to repair issues.
This initiative is brought to you by Waverley, Woollahra and Randwick Councils in collaboration with Sydney Water.
