Council fleet

Waverley Council are actively working to improve the environmental performance of our vehicles used for garbage collection, park and asset maintenance and staff journeys.

In practice, this means minimum greenhouse gas ratings for vehicles, the use of low emission fuels where possible and promoting the use of low emission vehicles, such as hybrids, to staff on leasing programs.

We reduce our reliance on motor vehicles by providing staff with bicycles and hybrid / electric vehicles for meetings and site visits.
