Spring is in the air, and we’re heading outside into the warmer weather at Festival of the Winds, where you could meet a Perfect Stranger! Plus, this month, enjoy our Sydney Fringe events, FOGO information sessions, Storytime at Playgroup and our new fitness classes.
Festival of the Winds, where you can meet a Perfect Stranger
14 September / Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Pavilion / 11 am and 4 pm
Australia’s most anticipated kite-flying event returns for 2025. Come along for incredible food and entertainment from around the world and take in the breathtaking coastal views of Bondi. Plus, this year is your chance to share a meal and a meaningful conversation, thanks to Perfect Strangers!

This National Child Protection Week, join us for Storytime at Playgroup,a morning of play, connection and conversation around child safety.Join Waverley Library and Bondi Beach Playgroups for a lovely morning of Storytime, play and resource sharing around building a safe environment for our kids.

Green Cleaning Workshop
12 September / 32-48 Denison Street, Bondi Junction / 1 – 3 pm
Why pay for expensive cleaning products when you could make your own and reduce packaging waste, cost and chemical exposure in the home? At this hands-on Green Cleaning Workshop, the fabulous Margaret from Moss House will teach you how to detoxify your home by making your own cleaning products using inexpensive household ingredients!
New Fitness Classes for the community
23 August / 9 am – 3 pm
Did you know that new, affordable community fitness classes are now available in Waverley? Residents can enjoy three weekly classes, including Barre Basics, a Strength & Stretch Circuit and Boxercise Fitness, all for just $15 per session!

Whether you’re a bike rider, pedestrian, driving a car, a bus or even a truck, we want your feedback on two proposed upgrade options for the intersection at Mitchell St / Murriverie Rd / Hardy St, which has been identified as having hazards.
