Civil works update

As part of Waverley Council’s Road Infrastructure Renewal Program 2021/22, Council will be repairing concrete roads throughout the Waverley local government area (LGA).

The following works will be taking place in Dover Heights:

Lyons Street: 26 April
Military Road, Dover Heights: 26-28 April

The Council will also be replacing and improving the existing footpath and turf in parts of Jaques Avenue, Bondi Beach from now until 26 April (weather permitting).

Mayor of Waverley, Paula Masselos, thanked the community for their patience as the Council attends to civil and major works throughout the LGA, and a backlog of repairs, as quickly as possible following the recent wild weather and COVID-related work force restrictions and supply chain delays.

“We are working hard to carry out these works to make our roads safer and our streetscapes more appealing,” Mayor Masselos said.
