I would like to congratulate the Waverley community for how it has responded to the news of new COVID cases in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Waverley and Randwick City councils will on Tuesday plant a tree in Centennial Parklands in honour of the late urban conservationist and unionist Mr Jack Mundey AO in celebration of his pivotal role in defending Sydney’s built environment and heritage.

In two weeks, Bondi Beach will play host to 30 live shows featuring some of Australia’s favourite artists, while revealing a surprise international act that offers an intimate fireside experience on the beach at night.
