Summer 2025 is just around the corner, which means it’s time to brush up on beach safety.
From dangerous currents alerts to life-saving reminders to swim between the flags, our beach signs are critical to the safety of Waverley residents and visitors.
This year, we’re asking the Waverley community to reimagine a national beach safety sign for the chance to win a $1000 voucher!
The winning entry will be submitted to Australian Water Safety Council, Surf Life Saving Australia and the Royal Life Saving Society Australia for consideration to be formally used as part of national warning and educational water safety signage.
