Bondi Beach Local Community Fund

Waverley Council is offering Bondi Beach locals small-scale sponsorships to support community events, programs and other activities that provide a tangible benefit to the Bondi community and align with the Community Strategic Plan.

Applications are currently open, closing on 24 August 2025.

Eligibility

This outbound sponsorship opportunity is available to all community organisations and individuals who operate in the 2026 postcode, including local event organisers, collaborative practitioners, community groups, cultural groups, social history groups, community organisations, social support groups and Bondi Beach-based not-for-profit sporting organisations.

Waverley Council welcomes applications from individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds. Applicants must be 18 years or over.

  
 

Individuals, organisations and businesses that have already successfully applied for grant funding in 2025 or are receiving direct Council funding will not be eligible for this sponsorship.


How much money is available?

Successful applicants will receive up to $5,000 to support project costs. This opportunity is designed to help residents achieve their goals but should not be relied on exclusively.
