Track a Development Application

To view the documentation submitted with a Development Application, or modification or review application, you can access the Development Application tracking tool.

Use the Development Application tracking tool

This tool can be used to:

  • Track the progress of a particular Development Application (or modification or review) currently under assessment
  • View the information submitted with an application to decide whether you want to make a submission to the proposal (ie. if you have received a notification letter, or viewed a site notice with the particulars of an application)
  • Find out what Development Applications have been lodged or determined by Council recently
  • View applications that have been previous lodged and determined
  • If the application was determined from 2019 onwards, the approved plans and conditions of consent associated with the development.

Please note that due to privacy reasons certain information is not available for viewing via the DA tracking tool. Hard copy information is no longer available for viewing at Council's Customer Service Centre.

If you wish to access information that is not available from the DA tracker, you will need to request this separately. For more information on accessing information, please refer to Council's Open access information webpage.

Contacting the Assessment Officer

Please note that only the nominated Applicant (i.e. one person) can contact the Assessment Officer to enquire about the status of their submitted application. This is to ensure communications between Assessment Officer and Applicant are streamlined, consistent and certain. This also avoids unnecessary delays to the timing of assessments caused by enquiries made by multiple contacts on behalf of the Applicant. Please carefully choose the nominated contact for the Applicant on the Application Form and when asked by the NSW Planning Portal during the lodgement process.
