Waverley Art Prize expands in 2024 with a new Local Prize category
08 March 2024

The Waverley Art Prize is aimed for early to mid-career artists and is awarded across four categories:

Mayor of Waverley, Paula Masselos said the Waverley Art Prize is returning to the Bondi Pavilion Gallery this year as Bondi’s staple event in the local and national art prize calendar.
“We’re looking forward to another fantastic year of the Waverley Art Prize with a strong female Judging panel I have no doubt this year will see some of the best artists in the country on display in the Bondi Pavilion Gallery” Mayor Masselos said.
Funds raised through the art prize support Waverley Woollahra Art School and help them sustain their role as the longest-running artist-run initiative in Waverley.
