An extraordinary meeting of Waverley Council will be held at Waverley Council Chambers, Cnr Paul Street and Bondi Road, Bondi Junction at 7pm, Monday 10 January 2022, to elect a Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
The Mayor elected at this meeting will hold office until 19 September 2023. The Deputy Mayor may be elected for the mayoral term or a shorter term. The procedure to elect a Mayor and Deputy Mayor is prescribed in schedule 7 of the Local Government (General) Regulation 2021.
This meeting will be streamed live via the internet and an audio-visual recording of the meeting will be publicly available on Council’s website.
