Ways Waverley can help the bushfire efforts

As bushfires spread across Australia, we’ve had a number of calls from residents wanting to help those affected by the devastation.

The Mayor of Waverley, Paula Masselos says she’s heartened by the generosity and spirit of our community in wanting to help those affected by the bushfires.

“People in our community are wanting to know how they can help. The best way you can help right now is to donate money. However, we will be talking to our fellow councils in affected areas to see what they need from us once the devastation settles and there is a clearer idea of what is needed in terms of services, equipment and goods,” said Mayor Masselos.

“Waverley Council wants those in the affected communities to know the Waverley community care and we are here to help however we can.”
