Bondi Feast 2018 submissions are now open! Bondi’s fringe-style winter festival, now in its sixth year, is gearing up to take over the Bondi Pavilion for 10 glorious nights.

If you are a theatre maker, comedian, playwright, storyteller, dance troupe, cabaret artist, aerialist, musician, or something else great, apply now.

This year, Bondi Feast will run from 17–28 July, transforming the Pavilion into a hub of entertainment including theatre, visual arts, comedy, music and food.

The Mayor of Waverley, Cr John Wakefield, said the festival was a wonderful event that gave emerging artists an opportunity to showcase their creative talents. “It’s ideal that Bondi Feast’s home is the Bondi Pavilion,” he said. “It provides a fantastic backdrop to the 90 shows we are hosting throughout the festival. It really is an event not to be missed.”

Bondi Feast welcomes back co-artistic directors Rachel Chant and Phil Spencer, who will be programming the 2018 festival. “We are looking for the most exciting, innovative and entertaining fringe shows to create a wondrous fortnight of festivities this winter. So if you’ve got a new project, pitch it to us,” they said.

An artist information night will be held on Monday 5 March and applications close on Sunday 23 March. For more information visit bondifeast.com.au
