Australia Day 2018 - Bronte Road Closures

Waverley's beaches are a favourite destination for thousands of visitors every Australia Day.
As increased traffic is expected, the following road closures will be in place:
- Bronte Road will become one-way westbound, between Nelson Avenue and Gardyne Street on Friday 26 January 26 January 2018, between 8.30am and 8pm.
- Gardyne Street, St Thomas Street and Yanko Avenue will be open to resident vehicles only.
Police officers will be on-site to direct traffic with support from Waverley Council.
If you're planning on hitting one of Waverley's beautiful beaches this Australia Day, we recommend leaving the car at home and travelling by public transport.
