- Have Your Say on Ausgrid's Eastern Suburbs Cable Project
Have Your Say on Ausgrid's Eastern Suburbs Cable Project
16 August 2017
Ausgrid is planning to retire some electrical equipment at their Clovelly substation in Bligh Place, Randwick. Before this equipment can be retired, the power it supplies to the local area will be transferred to the substations in Waverley and Kingsford.
To complete the transfer, 11 000 volt underground cables in Bondi, Waverley, Bronte, Randwick, Kingsford and Daceyville streets need to be installed. Some sections of existing cables will also be repaired at this time.
Please see the map in the Community Newsletter to better understand the proposed cable route and how Waverley will be affected.
Construction is currently forecasted to commence in late 2017/ early 2018.
Have Your Say
Ausgrid would like your feedback on the project and the proposed route. Your feedback will help them plan the project and minimise impacts during construction.
