Three ways to up your recycling game this National Recycling Week
12 November 2024 | Council News
Since 2016, we have managed to divert waste from landfill through a variety of recycling, recovery and educational programs, increasing waste recovery from 32% to 58%.
However, research from Planet Ark (who founded National Recycling Week in 1996) reveals that a significant portion of Australians are unaware of recycling options other than their standard kerbside recycling bin.
That’s why we are sharing three ways to up your recycling game this National Recycling Week, to help us divert more waste from landfill and further protect our beloved local environment.
P.S. If you haven’t already, make sure you’ve bookmarked our A-Z Waste & Recycling Directory!
