Swim & Go measures
01 May 2020
1 May 2020
Given the responsible conduct of swimmers and surf craft users over the past few days, water access is likely to be available for periods over the weekend.
This will be dependent on safe weather and beach conditions and the continuing good behaviour of water users.
We remind the community that access to water at our beaches is for the sole purpose of swimming and surfing for exercise.
Council Lifeguards will patrol the beaches between 7am and 5pm but since beaches are closed, the red and yellow flags will remain down, so swimming is at your own risk.
Click here for an FAQ about our strict 'Swim & Go' and 'Surf & Go' measures.
