Waverley Community Garden

The Waverley Community Garden is located at Clementson Park, Bondi Junction and is operated by Council under a plot system. There are 45 kitchen garden plots, an edible native plant border, composting facilities, a rainwater tank, a dedicated children's space, a pond, storage sheds and a shaded meeting space for activities such as environmental education programs and creative art workshops inspired by nature.

The purpose of the community garden is to provide residents who have little or no access to a garden, an opportunity to undertake their own food production, share gardening tips and engage in intergenerational learning. As well as individual members and family groups, there are numerous local community service organisations, people with different access needs and six early education centres actively involved. During monthly working bee's, members come together to maintain the garden, share produce, exchange ideas and enjoy each other's company.

There is an annual membership fee to access an individual plot, the annual fee is currently $87.50 per year.
