Environment

The Environmental Services Division is part of the Planning and Environmental Services Department, located at Council Chambers on Bondi Road.

The team develops Council’s environmental strategies and ensures that Council strives for best practice environmental outcomes in all our projects and policies. We work with business, schools and the wider community to help reduce environmental impacts.

Our vision for Waverley is for an environmentally sustainable community in which we have lowered our greenhouse gas emissions and are prepared for the impacts of climate change. We want to manage our energy, waste and water resources efficiently and respect and enrich our biodiversity.
