Details

Explore popular gardening trends at Waverley Library. In this workshop series you will discover, make and create modern green trends for indoor and outdoor living such as kokedama, macramé, pot plant painting and succulent design etc.

Each month will be a different theme. Please check eventbrite for program schedule.

This month we will be making moth balls and linen sachets. There is nothing more irritating than pulling out your favourite sweater at the beginning of winter to find it as holes in it, having been munched on by moths. Shop-bought moth repellents can be full of nasties, such as camphor and dichlorobenzene, and usually smell awful.

In this workshop you will make organic moth balls and linen sachets without any of the nasties, leaving your clothes smelling wonderfully fresh.

We will provide cotton, dried herbs and instruction to make. You are welcome to bring your own old pair of tights or stockings or some old thing muslin to the class.

This class is designed for Adults. All equipment is provided.
