Carlos Agamez is a Colombian-Australian interdisciplinary performance artist. His art reflects the exploration of themes around the idea of home, cultural displacement, the perception of our surroundings, and how one constructs a memory of a space.

Gertrude is Marie Widolf’s quirky girl-next-door cartoon-character, who first made her appearance on social media in 2015. Gertrude dreams of one day becoming a great chef – but there is only one little problem: she can’t cook.

This life-drawing class will feature live models, sometimes clothed, sometimes not.
The models will represent and celebrate trans+ bodies in all it’s beautiful forms.

All skill levels are welcome to attend, you don’t need to have any artistic training. Celebrate diversity and queerness in a relaxed environment.

Drawing materials will be provided but we welcome all participants to bring their own accoutrement if they so please.

This event is for LGBTQI+ people and their allies. This is an Adults only event. Ticket fees cover facilitator, models and drawing materials.

With a devastating poignancy and gritty tenderness, Bugger, reveals an uncompromising representation of abuse and explores the impact one day can have on a lifetime. The story follows ten-year-old Hamoodi, taught to trust only family, faces betrayal and bullying that shatter his sense of safety. Over one day and night, he learns how complicated trust and family can be and begins to find a way to reclaim his power.
