Wi-Fi Usage
The free Wi-Fi service is provided for general use and is not intended to be used for business purposes. Council may choose to limit downloads and connection times and use content filtering systems as a part of this service.
Did you know?
We believe our pubic Wi-FI service (which includes Bondi Junction - Spring Street and Oxford Street Mall, Waverley Library, Waverley Park, Tamarama, Bronte and Bondi Beach) will use approximately 27,000kw of energy per year. As such, Waverley Council will offset this increase in energy use through solar panels on Council buildings. Based on our predicted energy usage, our solar arrays will offset 6 times the amount of energy that Waverley’s Wi-Fi will utilise.
