Mental Health Awareness Week: Attaining a Balanced Mindset

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Week, May 13-19, Principal Clinical Psychologist from Inlight Psychology Bondi Junction, Dr Liza Chervonsky, will be discussing the notion of a balanced mind and reducing emotional reactivity.
In this talk Dr Liza will address concepts of over-attachment, resistance, over-control, and non-acceptance, and how these lead to emotional suffering and discontentment. Explore what true acceptance, mindfulness, and being in the present moment and how these are key to achieving a more balanced mind.
Dr Liza will discuss how to apply these concepts and exercises mentioned above to modern day living by utilising mindfulness principles and techniques. This will also include a short guided mindfulness exercise to bring awareness to these concepts.
About Dr Liza Chervonsky
Liza is the Principal Clinical Psychologist and Director at Inlight Psychology, Bondi Junction, which is a large clinic of 16 psychologists who share Liza's values and vision for therapy.
