The 3-Councils of Waverley, Woollahra and Randwick operate an electric vehicle (EV) charging network of 25 chargers, which continues to expand as the uptake of EVs in the east doubles year on year. The 3-Councils were the first in NSW to establish public chargers, recognising that the transition to EVs is the single largest change towards achieving net-zero emissions in the Eastern Suburbs.
As of January 2024, there were approximately 2,220 charging sessions per month at the Council operated public chargers. Now, THREE lucky users have the opportunity to win a month of free charging!
Submissions open 1st of March and close 31st of March. Winners Announced on the 15th of April.
To win please submit your photo via the link below considering the information below:
- The photo MUST:
- Be in front of a Council owned public charger in the east. The specific locations can be found using the Chargefox or Plug Share app and are labelled as 'Eastern Suburbs Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station Network' in the charger description.
- Images must be kept up to 5MG.
- The month of free charging can only be used at the Council operated chargers and payment through one Chargefox account.
- Those residing outside of the 3-Councils can still apply.
- This competition is free and open to all ages. Entrants under the age of 18 must gain permission from their parents or guardian to enter the competition. Permission must be provided to us via email
- Photos can be taken with any camera, drone or phone.
- By entering, you grant the 3-Councils the right to:
- Maintain a digital copy of the photograph or video
- Reproduce the photo in any media format, including but not limited to advertisements, postcards, brochures, posters, television/print media, website, social media, strategies and annual reports
- By entering, you agree and comply with the terms and conditions outlined.
