Best of the Best
It was with great honour that on Monday, Council unveiled a plaque for 2019 Waverley Local Hero Awards Best of the Best recipients Audrey McCallum and Peter McCallum on our Recognising our Leaders Walk on Bronte Beach promenade.
Audrey and Peter exemplify Waverley’s community spirit, having served the community for more than 30 years.
Their combined community service has benefitted many causes and organisations including Waverley Community & Seniors’ Association and Justice of the Peace services. Peter McCallum was Principal of Bronte Public School for 17 years and is a well-known advocate for improved education and support for young people.
