3 Apr: Notts Avenue Safety and Streetscape Upgrade

Notts Avenue Safety and Streetscape Upgrade

The community feedback survey for our Notts Avenue Safety and Streetscape Upgrade is open until Friday (5 April).

We want to hear from you, the community, about how you use Notts Avenue and what we could do to improve your experience of the space.

We know over one million people use the Coastal Walk each year, and Notts Avenue is heavily used by pedestrians for this reason. With this in mind, Council has identified Notts Avenue as a priority location for an upgrade to improve resident and visitors experience, with the aim to improve safety for all users of this space.

Feedback received through the survey will help inform the concept designs which will be developed in May. There will be community consultation on the concept designs, and later, the detailed design.

Construction is aimed to begin in April 2020. Construction will be completed in stages to minimise inconvenience to users.
