31 July: New public forum

New public forum

Waverley Council wants to hear from you about what matters to you most. For the rest of the year, we are trialing a public forum before each Council Meeting.

Think of it as an “open mic”- a chance for you to voice your concerns and give us your opinions, face-to-face with Councillors.

It is an opportunity for you to address Council on matters of public interest that are not listed on the Council Meeting agenda. To speak at a public forum, you must register the day before. All members of the public are welcome to attend.

The public forum will be held from 6.30pm before each Council Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month. In addition to speaking at a public forum, you can still address Council on items on the meeting agenda by registering to speak at a Council Meeting. Unlike Council Meetings, the public forum is not live-streamed.

For more information, or to register to speak at a public forum, please visit www. waverley.nsw.gov.au/council/council_meetings or call 9083 8000. Places are limited.
