22 May: Notts Avenue Safety and Streetscape Upgrade

Notts Avenue Safety and Streetscape Upgrade

Our concept design for the safety and streetscape upgrade of Notts Avenue, Bondi Beach is now open until 17 June.

The concept designs have been informed by feedback received through our recent community survey and face-to-face consultation with residents, visitors and other key stakeholders.

More than one million people use the Coastal Walk each year, and Notts Avenue is heavily used by pedestrians for this reason. With this in mind, Council has identified Notts Avenue as a priority location for an upgrade to improve resident and visitors experience, with the aim to improve safety for all users of this space.

Feedback received through this round of community consultation will inform the detailed design.

Construction is aimed to begin in April 2020 and will be completed in stages to minimise inconvenience to users.
