15 May: Easy to do Business portal

Easy to do Business portal

Waverley Council has partnered with Service NSW and the Office of the NSW Small Business Commissioner to launch Easy to do Business in Waverley.

The free online information portal provides step-by-step guidance and support across local, state and federal government requirements to help people open and grow their own small business.

It includes streamlined forms and one phone number to remove the complexity when opening a café, small bar or restaurant. Business operators will also be supported through the process by a dedicated personal Business Concierge.

Small businesses help revitalise the local economy and build greater diversity, which builds economic strength and resilience. They play a pivotal role in Waverley’s economy and are among the 35,000 registered business operating in our area.

We look forward to supporting local business through this new initiative and we encourage anyone interested in opening a new business to take advantage of the service.
