Brightest & Best business awards winners announced
22 November 2022
Mayor of Waverley, Paula Masselos, had the pleasure last night of announcing the winners of Waverley Council’s 2022 Brightest & Best business awards at a glittering awards ceremony held at the newly restored Bondi Pavilion.
It was the first time since 2019 that the Council was able to hold the awards which were postponed during the height of covid.
The Brightest & Best awards bring together our local business community to recognise their contribution towards making our community a dynamic place to live, work and shop. The awards were open to all businesses large or small that operate across Waverley, with all entries assessed against their industry peers.
Mayor Masselos said the Waverley economy is driven by local businesses who contribute to our thriving community by providing employment opportunities and the goods and services that make Waverley a great place to live and do business.
“It was wonderful to let our hair down last night and celebrate the resilience of our business community and their community spirit,” Mayor Masselos said.
“As a small business owner myself, I appreciate the effort that our winners and finalists have put into their business, and in their people, in order to succeed and build customer loyalty in this challenging economy.
“Being a part of the Brightest & Best business awards is a rewarding experience because it gives our businesses an opportunity to reflect on the strategies that help shape their goals and ultimately lead to more customers and growth.”
