Call for submissions to Antisemitism Royal Commission
The Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion held its opening hearing on 24 February, at which the Commissioner, the Honourable Virginia Bell AC SC, explained that the Commission is interested in hearing from Jewish Australians about their experiences of antisemitism in their daily lives, and encouraged members of the community who have an interest in any of the Commission’s Terms of Reference to make a submission to the Commission.
The Commission would like to hear from anyone in the Waverley community who would be willing to share information that is relevant to its Terms of Reference, which can be accessed by visiting Royal Commission.
A submission can be made to the Commission through its website or by email ASCRC.Submissions@royalcommission.gov.au.
Alternatively, Commission staff are available to speak to any interested people, including anonymously, and/or to assist them to prepare a submission or statement.
Submissions can be made until at least the end of May 2026, although the Commission would be interested in receiving responses as soon as possible.
