Waverley Council statement on Bondi Beach shooting

Waverley Council is horrified by reports of a shooting in Bondi earlier today. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this distressing incident.
We urge all members of the public to prioritise their safety and to stay away from the beach and surrounding areas while emergency services respond. Please follow the directions of NSW Police and other authorities.
Waverley Council is working closely with emergency services and will provide updates when further information becomes available.
