12 Days of Christmas: Shop local and win big!
Get into the festive spirit and support the amazing small businesses that make the Waverley area shine! For 12 magical days, every time you shop local, you could win one of six $300 vouchers just in time for Christmas.
How it works:
- Spend $30 or more at any participating local business between 1–12 December 2025
- Upload your receipt to enter
- Enjoy unlimited entries (one entry per receipt—no repeats!)
- Winners announced 15 December 2025

T&Cs: ‘12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS, SHOP LOCAL WIN BIG’ PROMOTION
1. Eligibility
1.1 The promotion is open to all shoppers aged 18 and over who purchase goods at any retail store located within the Waverley Local Government Area during the promotion period, 1 December 2025 to 12 December 2025 inclusive.
1.2 Participants must have spent a minimum of $30 in a single transaction.
1.3 Participants may submit multiple entries; however, only one entry per specific business is permitted to be submitted by each participant.
1.4 Entries are not permitted from immediate family of any nominated retail business owner/employee, or any representatives of Waverley Council and its partner organisations.
1.5 Entries from the following types of businesses will not be accepted as part of this promotion: major supermarket chains, shopping centres, international chains, and any liquor, tobacconists, gambling, or adult services establishments or the like.
1.6 Entries that used Gift Vouchers to make a purchase will also be excluded.
2. Entry Period
2.1 The entry period begins on the launch date of the promotion, 1 December 2025, and closes at midnight on 12 December 2025.
2.2 Only completed applications received by the closing date will be eligible for the prize draw.
3. How to Enter
3.1 To enter, participants must complete a simple application form via the designated online portal and upload a clear photo of their qualifying receipt along with details including First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Post Code and Phone Number.
4. Prizes
4.1 There will be six (6) winners in total. Each winner will receive a $300 voucher, which can be used exclusively at the business nominated on the supplied receipt.
4.2 Prizes are not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1 Winners will be drawn randomly from all eligible entries within seven (7) days after the promotion ends.
5.2 Winners will be notified via the email account provided during their entry submission. If a winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days of initial notification, a new winner will be drawn.
6. Privacy
6.1 All personal information provided will be used solely for the purpose of administering the prize draw, in strict accordance with Waverley Council’s privacy policy.
7. General Conditions
7.1 Waverley Council reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
7.2 Waverley Council reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion if necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances.
7.3 By entering this promotion, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
